It’s the second anniversary of both Literacy In Place and Reading Rural YAL! On top of that, there’s a lot of other new stuff to celebrate in my life since I’ve moved 19 hours closer to my family farm! New hair cut, new glasses, new neighborhood, new office, and now, after a brief hiatus, a new episode of Reading Rural YAL.
Along with all that other new-ness, this episode begins a new format for the podcast. Each series will now be two episodes – a “Book Talk” where I give a summary, some analysis, and teaching ideas and an “Author Talk” where I sit down to be in conversation with the author. This month’s feature is Elatsoe by Dr. Darcie Little Badger.
I’m excited to be back and talking about Elatsoe! Glad you’re with us, and hope you enjoy the episode!
